ABOUT ME

I just got back to the US after a year of living in Uganda. I miss the expat life but SF Bay is a pretty wonderful place to be! As I'm still new here, I'm enjoying exploring the area and playing tourist as well :)

When not studying or working I love to travel, especially to Latin America, plan parties, read, listen to music, sew and do crafts. I am always down for a drink or to go out dancing.

PHILOSOPHY

The point of life is to be happy. Be nice to each other. Do things you are afraid of. Always wear your seatbelt.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed December 2011 with some wonderful hosts and am now definitely convinced of couchsurfing! I've also gone to a couple of meet-ups in Ecuador and the US.

Being in the Carnaval parade in Brazil, then camping in the countryside in the rain during a 4 day rural Carnaval celebration; stumbling upon a deserted beach off the coast of Sao Paulo; rafting the Apurimac in Peru; my entire 5 years living in Miami; sleeping in hammocks in the Kuna Yala, Panama; nearly getting killed by a mule in Ecuador
