About Me

I grew up in the countryside of northwestern Germany. I just finished school and im looking forward to going to Togo as a volontaire. It is going to be my second time in Africa, as I lived in a host family in Cape Town for a year.
I am a pretty decent scholar, so I never really had any learning issues in school.
I have a good relationship to my family.
I would describe myself as a sportive guy, but I'm really flexible when it comes to activities.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was looking for an intense yet inexpensive way to explore France and freshen up my French in the process as I am going to Togo for a volontary service this september. I was advised to try out couchsurfing. First i was a little sceptic but then i really started liking the whole idea.

Interests

I do quite a few boardsports, always depending on my location. So far I do kitesurfing, wavesurfing, waveboarding, longboarding.
I grew up around iceland ponies, so I am able to ride a horse. I can sail and of course ride a bike. I'm also ok at scoccer and other ballsports. I'm always excited to try out new sports!
I love to have long conversations while eating or just sitting together aswell.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book is Eragon (fantasy)
I am really flexible when it comes to music but some subgenres of metal are just too much...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ive been to Cape Town as a exchange student for a year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could try teach some german or english. Other than that im good with children and animals.
I would love to extend my knowledge of french and that might take a little patience :)
The main thing i want to share is time.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do have some experience working with wood and metal. Im not all too bad in the kitchen as long as i have a recipe. I can actually do pretty much any kind of help if its explained to me first. Of course I am willing to exchange stories.
