About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Livin' gig to gig, and lookin' for a place to land

ABOUT ME

By day (and often night) I'm a theatre director with a specific interest in community collaborations.
I moonlight as a reader, an amateur beer snob, an ultimate frisbee player, and an avid Tarheel basketball fan. Ultimately I'm interested in people... all types of people. That's why I think this site rocks!

PHILOSOPHY

And in the end
the love you take
is equal to the love you make

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the site, and am currently a bit nomadic. Can't wait to finally settle, and have a couch to give back though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Like I mentioned above, brand spankin' new.

Interests

Theatre, Philosophy, Religion, Politics, and other such things that shouldn't be brought up in polite conversation.

Oh, and my wife thinks I'm a news junkie...

Have no fear, I also enjoy lighter conversation and physical activity. I love baseball, basketball, and the lesser known sport of ultimate frisbee.

Getting lost in the woods is a also a common past time. Anyone up for a hike?

Music, Movies, and Books

Haha. Too many and too eclectic to list here. If we get together we can chat on this one because I'm always looking for recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I proposed to my wife just minutes before we stayed with a Couch Surfing host.

I worked on a play with a nineteen year old man that was an ex-gang member in Los Angeles. In a conversation after the show, he told me that this play was the first time his grandmother had ever been proud of him.

I've lived in 4 corners of the United States!

Teach, Learn, Share

Talk to me about community-based art-making, and join the revolution. just kidding. it's not that scary.

Oh, and I can teach you how to throw a frisbee from the forehand side... interested?
