CURRENT MISSION

My current objective is to experience as much as I can in life before it is too late. I want to learn everything there is about people, languages, cultures, etc. because it is my passion.

ABOUT ME

I'll be graduating in December 2010 with a BA in Spanish, a BBA in Marketing, and a BBA in International Business.
I have absolutely no idea what I want to do for a career and have decided that at my young age, this can be decided later in life after I have adequate life experience under my belt.
After graduation I plan to teach English abroad or obtain other means of employment to make just enough to survive and experience as much as I can. My goal is to learn the language of each country in which I will live.

PHILOSOPHY

It's better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection.
To experience the world through the various cultures and languages it has to offer and detatch myself from the ideal of the "American Dream"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As of now, I would like to participate as a surfer, but once I have my own place I plan to offer other surfers a place to stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to couch surfing. My friend and I plan to take a graduation trip to Portugal and Spain December 2010-January 2011 during which we'd like to try it out.

Interests

I love foreign films, classics, artsy films, ones that make you think or visualize the world in a different way
I LOVE FOOD! I love to cook it, bake it, and mostly eat it. I believe it is the best way to truly experience another culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked the Austrian Alps for 4 days, walking about 50 miles in total and stayed in hostels each night.
I was able to study in Spain for 10 months and stay with a loving hostfamily who will be part of my life forever.
