Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because travel is terribly expensive but excessively awesome so, it seemed like the proper thing to do... plus, I never make friends with hotel staff? So, I guess Couchsurfing is all around the better option. Friends, culture, local low-down (the stuff you won't read in the guide books) and a (give or take) free place to stay - I have no complaints!
