ABOUT ME

I was raised in a small town in Vermont but I quickly learned that I was too ambitious and restless for the country life.

I went to college in New York City so that I could play music and it has turned out very well.

I've worked in the music industry and have played in a couple different touring rock bands.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a realist, but I just can't seem to shake my teenage rock and roll fantasies.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm very new to this process, and right now I'm specifically looking to make a United States music tour a financial possibility.

Once I'm comfortable with this experience I will be happy to host a few travelers in my nice Brooklyn loft.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I moved to Los Angeles for a couple years right after college. I needed the support of my friends and friends of friends to set my life up in a new city. I spent about a month looking for a job and an apartment and it all worked out well. That experience made those friendships of mine stronger and gave me a great introduction to California culture.

After that I toured with an indie-rock band called "matt pond PA". This was a well-run operation, but still on a small budget. We were lucky enough to be hosted by music lovers at a few stops along the way.

I would love to to this again with my new band "Devin". We are only three people, very polite, and full of good stories.

I love cooking, cats, dogs, music, travel and friends. Sounds pretty generic, but it's really really true.

My band and I are very accomplished musicians and songwriters and would be happy to give some music tips.

On a philosophical level, I've read many books on art, history, philosophy and science. If you want to hang out and talk about the universe and human-kind, I've got a lot to say.

On a more business level, I know a lot about New York, the music industry, and many many small businesses. I've made money as a bookkeeper in NYC, so I've seen it all.
