I'm a twenty-years old student who is going to stay a full week in Finland/Estonia (Helsinki, Talinn, Turku) from 14 to 21 august 2017 with two friends (Simon Bergsma, Roan Jagersma, both can be found on this platform). Yet, we don't have a place to stay and we're interested in meeting other people in the country we're going to stay in. I decided to install this app to partly step out of a sort of comfort zone, as I'm sometimes slightly sceptic about new life experiences. Mostly it turns out that these experiences are in fact changing the view I have and are for the biggest part positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm looking on this app as a brand new couchsurfer, it immediately looks great to see so many people being positive and interested in the lifes of other people. I am as well interested in the aspects of others and I want to travel more, therefore I think couchsurfing is a beautiful way of meeting new people and have a look at different things that other people do.

Interests

I read a lot of books, especially thrillers. I also like to watch and discuss tv series, like Dexter or Psych. I also have a wide taste in music, but one of my most favourite bands will always be Simple Minds, which I also saw live in Amsterdam.
