ABOUT ME

Hi Couchsurfers,

I'am Sjoerd, 33 years old. Since januar 2013 I live together with my girlfriend Anna (30). We traveled together in Australia and New Zealand, and we had an awesome time. We did many things like bungy jumping, skydiving, whale watching tour, hitch hiking and of course we had great couchsurf experiences.

Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to enjoy life, living in the present! That's why I chooce for the current mission 'Carpe Diem.'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started to host people here in the Netherlands, together with my girlfriend Anna. We found out couchsurfing last year, when we were traveling in Australia and New Zealand. Untill now we only had great and unforgettable experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have traveled in Australia together with my girlfriend Anna. During our traveling people recommended us to use couchsurfing, so we did. We had a great time and because of all the good experiences, we will host people here in the Netherlands.

Interests

I have many interests, I like to hang out with friends, to meet other people and learn more from other cultures. Festivals, sport and music are other interests of me.

I like Dutch, English songs and also some French, Italian and Spanish songs. It's not that I'am a fan of one type of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did bungy jump and skydive in New Zealand and that was really awesome. In Australia I went on a whale watching tour and I saw between 7 and 10 whales. It was amazing to see all these big animals in wild life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a big interest, so it's difficult to say what my skills and knowledge are. I like to organize events, to be in contact with other people, to cook.

I would love to improve my skills of making music, singing, cooking and learn more about other cultures and the languages.
