Présentation
À propos de moi
Hi!
I'm Skander, 23, Belgian-Tunisian who's lived mostly in Europe and a bit in the United States. For a year, I travelled from country to country backpacking after high school and Couchsurf was a really great way to hangout with some unforgettable people. Since then I've used it every now and then, but I really hope to be able to return the favour once I have my own place.
Currently in the process of moving to Oslo for a Masters in Development and Environment. I just finished my Bachelor in International Relations at Lancaster University in the UK and I'm excited to see what Norway has to offer!
A lot of great friends I've made were through 2 or 3 days of hanging out so I have no doubt that if you come to my house or if I come to yours, we'll have a blast ^^
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
To broaden my horizons; meet new people, discover different cultures and ways of thinking and really get a lot closer to the reality people live in rather than seeing the tourist side of things.
Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I really enjoy rock, punk, classical, jazz, hip-hop but most of all I love old and new pop-punk!
Some of my favorite artists from different genres include:
Miles Davis, Chance the Rapper, The Wonder Years, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, MF Doom, Nujabes...
As for books I read everything from sci-fi to historical fiction or geopolitics books. Some of my favorites are the Ender Saga, Raiders from the North, the case for Mars or Pendragon
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
~ I've presented my very own Model United Nations resolution on the demilitarization of the Arctic Circle in front of 4000 people in the Hague.
~ Successfully hitchhiked through Japan for 2000 kilometers all across Japan from Osaka to Wakkanai, where you can see Russia with the naked eye. I'll never forget those two weeks.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I can teach you about the worlds most complicated government: Belgium!
I'd love also to teach and learn cooking :) If languages are more your thing, I can give tips for French and basics in Japanese.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
My passion for world affairs, my point of view on things (I have one on almost everything :p), some skills like guitar or language such as english, french or japanese, some recipes from my home country (Belgium, or Tunisia where my parents are from) or I can even be a careful listener if you need someone to talk to who won't judge you ^^
Ive ended up becoming great friends with a lot of amazing people on CS, can't wait to make more!
