ABOUT ME

After many years of not quite being sure what my life was about and what I wanted to do with it I suddenly found myself with new interests that really excite me. Those interests started with sound recording and I went back to school and got a degree in Sound Engineering from SF State. A few years later I moved to Istanbul Turkey to try my hand at teaching English. Never a dull moment!

I have led a very colorful life so far which has taken me from performing with all kinds of musical projects when I was younger to dancing hard under the stars with wonderful people on many a summer night to going to different schools to all kinds of new creative outlets as I get older. Along the way I have met so many interesting people that I'm sure I don't come close to remembering them all.

As I move forward in life I look forward to expanding my views of the world and getting more involved with my new found interests all the while making new friends along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is that I try to live my life as truthfully as possible. I try to be the most accurate representation of the person that I think I am and that I want to be. I try to see the world as it actually is or at least in a way that makes the most logical sense to me all the while understanding and trying to be respectful of the fact that many others do not share my views

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I go to Couchsurfing events in İstanbul from time to time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled across Europe in the summer of 2008 by train And had 3 WONDERFUL couch surfing hosts. Shortly after I returned from my trip I hosted my first surfer and a year later I'd met over 30 wonderful surfers.

I’m now living in İstanbul, Turkey and have hosted many lovely travelers

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The Burning Man festival in the Black Rock desert of Nevada is a truly amazing experience. I've been 9 times and it never ceases to put me in awe.
