HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Heart and mind. Conversation ranging from the serious to the inane (and mostly centered on those two poles). Am a decent (vegetarian) cook. I'm tidy, good at making/fixing things and happy to do a little productive work to help out while I'm visiting. Or let's just sit and have a cold brew/hot cuppa...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with 5 CSrs in June 2011. Excellent experience, all were great hosts. Look forward to hosting my own surfers.

Too many, can never decide if I'm the fox or the hedgehog. Enlightenment, Sunlight, frogs, efficient systems, anything fast, dark beer.

The sounds of rain and cicadas and shadows of bamboo through the rice paper walls of Daijoji Temple, where I spent Sunday afternoons for many years.

Other than a few words of Japanese, I'm not sure I feel qualified to teach much... Sure there is much more to learn.
