ABOUT ME

I love meeting people, all people, and not just meeting them but, hangingout and learning about them while, mountain biking, skiing(snow and water), snowboarding, kneeboarding, airboarding, hiking, bouldering(red rock canyon outside of Las Vegas is the best), where was I, oh yea, snorkeling, kayaking, pokering($20 is my limit), ziplining,rollerblading, and skydiving(maybe)... someday... ok someone would really have to talk me into that one.I am a very patient person, due to my 23 year career as a wedding photographer.I don't smoke, drink or do drugs, but I don't mind hanging out with people that do. I get high and drunk off life and other people. When friends around me get a buzz, I get that contact buzz off of them. Its cheaper and I can drive home(and drive everyone else home too). I guess you can call it "BuzzSurfing". I inherit their buzz and they get a free ride home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few years ago I met these two cyclists. I noticed that their bikes were packed to the max. They mentioned that they were half way on a 2000 mile trek, they proceeded to hint that they had no place to stay for the night, so I took them in, fed them, and had a great conversation with them. 3 months later I received a book in the mail. Chapter 6 was about their stay with me. They gave me no clue that there trek was an experiment in couch surfing.

I really enjoy just having an interesting conversation with someone. I like to learn about different cultures. I am some what of a fine dine aholic. I just love going out to eat in unique local restaurants.

I like most movies that I have seen except for the two that I walked out on: My big fat greek wedding and something "Horizon"

Books: Robert Ludlum novels, I know, he just passed away, so I guess I will have to find another author.

My friend, Bill, and I drove Jetskis 2000 miles in 14 days from Wilmington,NC to Key West, FL and back while raising money for Duke Cancer Center.

I was a foster parent to 2 children, both were successfully reunited with their birth parent.

Zip lined through a jungle for 3/4 of a mile, 80 feet up, traveling at 40 mph.

Snorkeled with a 5 foot shark and 3 barricuta.

Visited one of the oldest Breweries in Europe. I almost got kicked out for ordering a Coke, they don;t understand the concept of BuzzSurfing.

Skied and boarded on some of the most amazing mountains in the world.
