About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To do as many things as possible the more interesting the better!

ABOUT ME

I use to be a squatter in Exeter, living with a big group off mates, where we were more like a family. The idea is to get back to the old days and live in large groups whenever possible. This is partly the reason to move to Bristol.

I want to travel to see the world before I settle down, see how people live. The more out of the ordinary the better. I am going to help build a commune with my friends, a place where life is enjoyable, a place where you visit to rest, to start something new, and go away with a stronger sense of self; This is our dream.
I head to festivals as much as possible, there is so much to see, and such a great atmosphere, that you feel as if you can talk to anyone and there is always something to watch. Small ones are the best, by the end of it you know everyone and don't want to leave because it feels like home.

My best time is when I spin fire with my friends, when we all get together, and you see 10 or so fire spinners at one time, it can take your breath away, I have never met a better group of people.

I love to dance, it keeps you fit, nimble and you can use it to express things you could never talk about. It doesn't matter if you are in a big crowd, on your own, or dancing with a partner, the feeling can be amazing.

My last thing about me is I love to read, I can devour many books at one time. I have a passion to learn and explore life, I want to make the most of it. I mainly enjoy true stories and factual books, my interests can be varied.

PHILOSOPHY

Live life, don't dawdle.

Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happended.

One Person, Several People.

Positive thinking is not naive, but an understanding that life is beautiful no matter what happens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with 3 good friends, and we tend to have an open door policy, if you wanna surf just ask and we'll see what we can do. I myself plan to travel the would, via couch surfing, I don't wanna just see the world, but the people who make it.

Interests

I am one of the founders of Patchwork Spinning Collective, a fire spinning group in Exeter. We go to festivals and local events and organise workshops and performances.

I love physchology, whats the point in having a brain with no manual???

Photography is great for catching the moment, and the anticipation you get while waiting for a film to develop is a great feeling.

Music, Movies, and Books

2 of my favorite books; Flow - The psychology of optimal experience, Urban Grimshaw and the shed crew

Any that is based on a true story, or a good comedy/psychological thriller.

Music, anything that is good, I listen to most genres, but only a selection of artists from each. My favorite is genre IDM, my favorite artist being Bonobo, I do warn you I will ask you what your favorite music is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Defeating my demons, and changing my life for the better.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you about some areas of flow, the concept how to put it into practice. I love to teach people to dance, how to spin fire, and any area of my life they want to know about. Knowledge is worth sharing no matter how little.
