About Me

I was a librarian for four years and would happily be a librarian forever, but life worked out differently.
I have done EVS in an archeological museum in Germany and it was the best year.
Now i'm working in an IT-company that's creating databases for museums, I'm doing tech support, making individual settings and teaching.
My dream job: drawing cartoons, but sadly I'm not good at any kind of drawing.

Things I love the most - travelling, eating and my cat Kardamon.
I like travelling alone more than with people and I'm eating mostly vegetarian, but once in a while I can't resist to a chicken pie or burger. I tried to be vegan, but it turned out I can't physically live without cheese.
I'm a certified baker and if you'll be lucky, I'll bake something when you'll be my guest. But most of the time I'm too lazy, sorry.

I love Saint-Petersburg very much, but I want to live in a small town somewhere far away. I have lived a big part of my childhood in Germany, and I speak German.

'Go then, there are other worlds than these' (Stephen King "The Dark Tower")

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm a very introverted person, Couchsurfing was a challenge for me and a way to come out of my comfort zone. I've been surfing for a long time and I've met the greatest people, and I decided that I will give back, since now I have finally my own place and can offer my couch.
