About Me

After several years of keeping cs at arms length (sorry about the super low response rate, I both forgot to change my "accepting guests" status when I wasn't and forgot to change my email to my current one...I should respond with decent promptness now that I get notifications on my phone) I am in a position to host guests again (as of February 2017).

Summertime. Taco trucks. Hopping fences. Cake baking. Cultural anthropology, Ethnobotany. Ethnology, Ethnozoology. Ethnopharacology. Medical Anthro. Cooking up feasts. Porch reading. Stoop chilling. Cliff jumping. Cave swimming. Midnight skinny dipping in bioluminescent waters. Bruises. Scab pickin'. Comics. Zines. Strip uno. Knitting. Stencils. Broken hands. Twenty course meals and michelin stars. Pizza with honey. Making forts. Illustrating. Making art. Making out. Making Pie. Making things beautiful. Bowling. Bad ideas. The way we were. How things are now.

Eat lots of maracuyas. Share what makes you happy. Love hard. Protect your friends. Make them tamales. Dream a lot. laugh all the time. Smile until your face hurts. Draw til your hands cramp. Make things happen for yourself. Creating somethings out of nothings. Staying raw. Tearing down walls. Embodying the change you want to see around you. Practice the campsite rule with the world, you family, your friends, you lovers. Don't forget your leatherman/multitool.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been inactive for the past three or so years but now I am back. Let's hang.

I couchsurfed lots and lots over the years prior to CS.com. Since I have joined the site I've mostly hosted but I'm good at sleeping on floors, couches, porches and in backyards and basements and hallways. I am a good guest. I'm quiet and do my dishes right after use. I might even make you dinner (which, if you can forgive me for casting aside modesty, I am really great at!)

I have always loved hosting. I love meeting new people and making sure travelers get the most out of their trip to where I live.

I probably will still mostly host, but it is possible I will hit you up for yer couch.

Books and Zines( Cometbus, AZ, Burn Collector, Doris, SCAM, etc etc. Ya know, all the old punk staples). Sea creatures. Records: the sweet crackly sounds of the needle hitting vinyl. SW rights. People. Bonfires. Illustrating. Hip hop. Cooking. Virology. Epidemiology. Labor and human rights. Social justice. Intersectional feminism. Unpacking all our learned bullshit and trying to become halfway decent people. Feasting. Dreams.
