About Me

Hi, my name is Mauro, I'm italian but since February 2016 I live in Nantes, France ! I become here for a European Voluntary Service project and after the project was end I decided to stay: any french can't believe that I prefer France to Italy, but this is another story x)

Some years ago I was used to take part in different Youth Exchanges project (more than 20); with those project I had the opportunity to meet a lot of young people from different cultures and to discover new countries. Now with a friend we make our own NGO to promote and give the opportunity to others guys to copy our past experience and understan how much is important to travel and create a new consciousness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good opportunity to get in touch with locals that is one of the most important aspect about travel; you can meet somebody that can guide you around the place and give you some personals suggestions, that is always better than just read a map city.

Interests

Music is on the top of the list, I play guitar since I was a teenager ! After it I love to travel, meet new people and learn new things !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is not very incredible but anyway 8-) During a International Youth Exchange in Galicia, Sapin, me and two others guys create a song called "Que pasa no, que puede pasar", and at the end of the project all the 3 we decide to get a tattoo about this song.

Another one was to get lost in Sarajevo during the night with two others guys, so we decide to stop a car and ask help us to find the way to get back to the hotel and (maybe) ask for a ride. So we decide to stop a car but (surprise) we discovered that the guys was traveling with three sheeps inside the car ! I think that will be one of the most strange and funny experiences of my life !
