ABOUT ME

At first I usually come off as quiet and reserved, but once I'm feeling a bit more comfortable I'm relatively fun, and can be somewhat hilarious. I may just remain socially awkward though, but I think (hope) I've gotten better at coming out of my shell a bit. Overall though, I'm quite laid back and friendly.

Ummm, I quit my "administrative professional" job to come to Japan over a year ago, which was a really good decision, so I'll be sticking around a bit longer. I'm hoping to get more traveling under my belt while I'm here.

I've only surfed a couple times and hosted a few times while in Japan, but I'm hoping to do more of both in the future.

I CS with a couple of people in San Francisco with a friend and in South Korea, and hosted a few times in Japan.

Interests

I guess the usual...reading, music, chatting with friends over beers, laying in the sun, etc. I was an Art major, so I like going to check out exhibits and such, but haven't been making much of my own work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to an oceanside onsen in Wakayama, Japan was a neat experience, nothing like being naked in natural hot springs next to the ocean.
