ABOUT ME

I work at a library organisation. We promote reading in schools, kindergartens etc, plan events, do projects on reading, literature, etc. I live with my husband and dog in a small town in the middle of the country.

I'm a rather talkative person and usually pretty easy-going. In the beginning, though, I can be a little distant out of awkwardness. I enjoy meeting new people, and love to have interesting conversations, and laugh and joke about. My sense of humor can seem a little sharp and pretty sarcastic, but rest assured, I would never be mean on purpose! To quote my friends, I'm generally nice and fun to be around ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Live in the moment, it's all you have. Don't worry about the past or future. Be yourself. Enjoy what's in front of you. Don't be afraid of meeting new people, seeing new sights, learning new ideas. Don't take life (or yourself) too seriously.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only indirectly: I've stayed with friends who had couch surfers staying over. So I did 'host' surfers, but not in my own home ;)
