About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Improving the world

ABOUT ME

I would describe myself as a very positive person. I can enjoy the little things in life. When I see people helping and caring for each other. When people laugh or smile, sing or are just crazy. I think life is too valuable to follow all common patterns (even though I do with many things). Environment, social behavior and justice matter to me and I am trying to live consciously and explore ways of living life more sustainable and healthy... And to find out more you have to meet me ;)

PHILOSOPHY

- Respect the world and the residents living on it.
- Enjoy life to its fullest.
- Having a positive attitude to happenings is always better than having a negative attitude

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is a a great project to meet various and wonderful people all around the globe. It connects cultures, opinions and people and contributes to an opposite understanding of each other. It gives an additional benefit for travelers and hosts and often leads to new friendships. I like surfing other people's places, because you can dive deeper into local people's life and experience how they live.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We travelled to New Zealand and arrived in Christchurch after 11 pm. Our hosts picked us up, showed us the city and they made us an amazing midnight meal, because we didn't eat that day. When we came back from travels to Christchurch they hosted us again, showed us museums, a local bar and we had many good talks about philosophic themes and culture. We felt treated like their own children. The days staying at their place was very enriching.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Living with local village people in India and experiencing their very simple way of living within small communities. Thereby seeing how satisfied they were in their lifes, although they were, compared to Western Standards, extremely poor in a materialistic way, but being much richer in terms of social relations and the importance of family structures. Since this experience I can't feel seriously sad anymore. This experience taught me to appreciate the simplicity of life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you German, I can teach you about the German culture, I can tell you about countries and thing's I've seen and experienced. I'm generally excited to hear about other people's stories an to learn from them. I don't want to specify what I want to learn, because I think everyone has to teach something, which makes him special, even if this person doesn't realizes it consciously.
