ABOUT ME

skotandrak is a partnership formed through music and a common goal we share in saving our planet earth!! this couch surfing profile was formed specifically to get us from western Canada to New Mexico to find the garbage warrior!! (search garbage warrior on you-tube..) we like to travel and play music but more importantly want to find ways to contribute to saving our planet through sustainable living, permaculture and food security/responsibility. we have great desire in learning how to construct earth-ships and eco-homes and are hoping to learn by immersing our selves in the culture. we plan to make money for gas by busking during our travels. We dumpster dive for our food!! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now we are planning to be surfing our way to our destination, and once our mission is complete, we plan on paying our good fortune back by opening our homes to those in need. hopefully by then we will be living in our own earth ship home/studio and we will not only be able to host people on our couches but also teach them the ways of sustainable, green living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

when rak was traveling around BC in the summer he ended up meeting some couch surfers on the beach one night. they welcomed me and a friend to stay for as long as we needed and told us all about couch surfing and their experience with it. skot has had no direct association with couchsurfing.com, though has slept on many couches.
