About Me

These sections are always the hardest to fill out, aren't they?

First off, music is life; and while classical music is my home, the realization that there exists an entire world of sound to explore compels me to do just that, feel free to explore it with me !

Science is my current life's work, and one might often find me spending late hours attempting to figure out the myriads of puzzles that fundamental research poses because of the belief that science can - with proper moral guiding - lead to the prosperity of all mankind.

Hiking is an extreme passion. If coming close to death on a multi-day hike in the Adirondacks didn't turn me away from it, little else will.

Life should be a fantastic adventure, and the person who spends their life stewing away in their corner of the world misses out on all the fantastic colors of human expression. Moreover, travel should not be done merely to see new things, but rather to expose oneself to new and exciting experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Anthropology was my field of study for a couple of years - even going so far as to do field work both in the States and abroad. While it wasn't written in the stars for me to become an Anthropologist, a lasting affect of having studied it was to learn to appreciate and love the many different expressions of humanity. So, let's sit around a fire or over some drinks, or go on a hike or sit under the stars and pick at one another's brains to discuss the great mystery that is life and the strange connections that exist within.
