About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME

I love humanity and art.
I like learning new languages, or trying to, and drawing with people I meet.
I love tea and watching lots and lots of movies.
I laugh as much as possible.. people usually comment on my laugh or for how long I can laugh. I just think laughing is awesome, especially when something is totally ridiculous.

My mom is from the Philippines.. My dad is just.. white bread. English, Irish, Scottish, Italian.

I spent a year in New Zealand!

PHILOSOPHY

I want to help/meet others, be happy, feel good. Life's too short to get pissed off all the time.. unless the man is bringing you down. then get angry!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can take people around LA? I know awesome spots.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had nothing but great couchsurfing experiences.

People that have hosted me have taught me how to make foods, shown me great local spots, been good friends to hang out with, and have helped me out a lot with planning things to do.

I met up with a few people, and they were equally as awesome. I generally believe the people on this site are all different types of really cool people.

Interests

Drawing, FOOD, good movies, baking, beer, just learning new things in general.. I'm really into Polynesian, Indian, Native American, and Eastern European cultures...

Music, Movies, and Books

music .. brand new, earth, wind & fire, city & colour, cassino, most New Zealand reggae...

movies .. lord of the rings, boy, american civil war and nature documentaries, zoolander, super troopers, anything funny..

books .. the hobbit, harry potter, well-written ethnographies, anything written by Oscar Wilde or O.Henry

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen where the Pacific ocean meets the Tasman Sea at the northern most point of New Zealand.

Built a fire on the beach of a deserted island with a one-armed man.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can make (and would love to teach anyone) a really great Spaghetti sauce (not very Italian, but still really delicious!). I know heaps about Māori culture and could teach a few Māori songs/dances. Can also make a pretty good sweet potato pie!

I would love to learn any language or any new recipe! I love food!

Share? A good laugh!
