My name is Sky, I am an Australian citizen of 29 years, having been born on the 3rd December 1985 in Liverpool, NSW. Since, I have lived, travelled, experienced, worked and been educated along the East coast of Australia, between the states of New South Wales and Queensland, and in the major cities and towns of those areas, including Cairns and Byron Bay.

I currently live in Cairns, within a suburb beside the school formerly known as the 'Cairns Christian College', which I attended during my primary years. Other Institutions, for primary, secondary and tertiary education included, but was not limited to, Cairns State High School, Cooktown State School, Meadowbank and Ultimo TAFE, and James Cook University.

I commenced full time work at the age of 19 (2004) as a Trainee, for the Appliance and Limb Centre in Redfern, Sydney, working till September 2006 when I was made redundant (which I was not aware at the time to be an illegal act), completing the remainder of the course by special arrangement.

The following year, mid 2007, after some time away from what I had thought was a draconian people and industry, I began work for the refreshingly modern team at APC Prosthetics nearby the Westmead children's hospital, where I remained until, in late 2009, when my now ex-partner decided upon our relationship that I should have a safer workplace. Needless to say, In March 2010 I began work as a software support technician, for the now Melbourne based business, QST Systems.

Since that time, and the time before, I have collected as many skills as I have required to suit my interests; as it is a tendency of mine to seek a fuller understanding of them; and I enjoy answers. "Only has ever a problem become apparent, from a lack of understanding, than apparently become a means to a solution, through understanding of the problem as a solution to itself".

I have lived with and met many overseas visitors while I was in Sydney and would love to travel, but I cannot decide where or which language I should learn first!

Reason to visit: To learn of Japan and its people by way of first-hand experience in Tokyo. Osaka is also a place in mind to visit, and furthermore to do so within my financial means.
Future Plans: To return to Australia and depending on my experience(s), I will either find a way to return in a way well suited to myself and how I may serve a livelihood within Japan as well as serve the livelihoods of others, or I will remain in Australia and commence Studying or full time work once more.

Interessi

I am interested in Japan, Korea, and China for now, so hopefully through this website I will, finally, be able to be the traveller :)

My interests include: Philosophy, Design, Architecture, Physiology, Psychology, Science, Engineering, and (efficient) Technologies, Motorcycling & Driving (I've driven (2010km) from Brisbane to Cooktown twice in one stretch), Art, and all things cooperative.
