我做过的一件不可思议的事情

AmeriCorps NCCC— With a team of 10, my first project was located in Novato, CA planting plants! I had the most WONDERFUL sponsor whom made me feel at home in a place so foreign to me. At the end of the round which was 6 weeks, my team and I planted 11,200 plants that are now home to dozens of endangered species!
My second project was located in Sheridan, Wyoming working with Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns! My team and I worked with the community to help build 2 houses for people in need.
As for my third project (there is 4 total), I did not have one because I got promoted to Unit Support Team Leader. My new position included helping the teams out on the field and making sure they had a successful project!
When the 4th round came around, which was in early June of 2016, I then got promoted to Team Leader and had my own team! I flew to Darrington, WA from where I would work with the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance building mountain biking trails for the youth.
Not only did I work with those organizations but I also worked with Animal Shelters, and Senior Centers.
