ABOUT ME

I want to become a citizen of the world, regardless of my official status as a California resident. I find the greatest value in the places I visit resides not in the tourist attractions and sites, though these are great and give cities their definition, but in the people that live there. I love sharing perspectives of people from different places, and how this can educate me to become a citizen of the world. Couchsurfing gives me this avenue and I couldn't be more grateful. I love learning, experiencing new things, music, dancing, and all things involved in the pursuit of happiness.

PHILOSOPHY

There are those who say they can, and those who say they can't. Both are usually right.

I believe that in anything you want to accomplish, consistent will power and hard work can never fail to get you there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great times in Berlin with Anton, discovering the city and running the town with he and his friends. Also had an amazing time in Poland with Rob! Can't wait to add more to this list

Interests

Music - Hip-Hop, Minimal, House, Rock, Reggae, any feel-good music is a good feel for me. I think any time and place has a certain sound to accentuate the moment.
Dance - Ask me to shuffle :)
Traveling - that's why I'm here.
Sports - I've played and been good at just almost all major sports, except for golf, rugby, and probably a few more. My main ones include tennis, basketball, football (American and European), and ping pong.

Like too many movies to list off the top of my head, but ones that come to mind: Blood Diamond, Shutter Island, The Hangover, Pulp Fiction, and more that I'll remember another time.

I have a twin brother and pranked all 192 of his unsuspecting students into thinking I was their teacher. This for lack of a better idea at the moment

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: Shuffling - I knew how to do this before the Black Eyed Peas ever came along. Skateboarding. Skimboarding. How to throw a perfect spiral (American football). English. Moral philosophy. More to come.

I can learn: everything I can, and I think most things are worth knowing. Especially other languages and new skills.
