Hey, I’m Skye! An ocean fanatic who has travelled 35+ countries, volunteered in many and lived in a few. I base my travel around culture, nature and marine life, and to me, real travel is seeing places through the eyes of locals and really understanding the area and culture instead of just taking a few photos and ticking it off the list 🌊🐬🌋🌸

I’m a half glass full, open-minded, clean & polite person who laughs a lot and is always on the hunt for unique experiences 💫

When I first started travelling in 2018 it was so easy to connect with locals and make genuine friendships, but with how tourism has developed globally, I feel authentic connections have become harder to find, which is why I’ve redownloaded Couchsurfing and hope to meet people who can share valuable experiences with :)

I’ve surfed in several countries and hosted in Australia. I’ve always had amazing experiences and have gained some lovely friendships, returning the favour of hosting when I wasn’t on the move.

If anyone knows any acro yoga communities in your area also please let me know I’d love to see!
