About Me

To make the most of every moment, situation, and opportunity

I just recently graduated from the University of Arizona, and I'll be an english teaching assistant in Lille for this next academic year. I'm looking forward to a working break, and to gain experience in different ways, but I ultimately want to pursue a graduate degree in economics. Of course, there's always room for travel and fun, and I hope there is lots of it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now my participation is limited to surfing, and I'm excited to get my foot through the door. Once I'm experienced, however, I do hope to host people wherever it is that I end up.

There was only one time in Boston when my best friend and I were a bit stranded, and our taxi driver asked his wife if she would mind hosting us for the night. HIs entire family (wife and three daughters) were extremely nice, and they even bought us breakfast and drove us around the various neighborhoods in the Boston area. Other than that I only have experience in hitchhiking, and meeting people and experiencing their kindness in that regard. But I view my upcoming trip to France as my first true experience with couch surfing.

I've always enjoyed reading, playing basketball, golf, and baseball/softball. Watching movies, and going out every once in a while, of course. I also love riding bikes, and just walking around and exploring places I've never been.

Music, Movies, and Books

Crash, Forrest Gump, A League of their Own, Phantom of the Opera

The Harry Potter books, The Birth of Venus, The Red Tent

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiking to Brussels, New Year's Party in London, and living in an italian villa definitely top my list, but I'm still looking for more of those moments that will leave me awestruck

Teach, Learn, Share

If I'm going to be traveling then I couldn't think of anything better to learn than other languages and how to cook different types of food. I have a lot of experience with tutoring and am always willing to help in whatever way I can.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, France, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom
