ABOUT ME

I'm en route back to Canada at the moment after spending the better part of a year living, volunteering and travelling in Latin America. I seem to bounce back and forth in life between being a relatively stable, politically engaged member of society and a wandering vagabond looking for an answer to some existential question I haven't encountered yet. Right now I'm definitely leaning toward being more of a vagabond.

I enjoy many things in life, but one of my favourites is finding myself entangled in long, intense, green-tea-fuelled conversations that last until the wee hours of the morning, which hop, skip and jump from topic to topic and are sometimes serious, sometimes silly, and sometimes really about nothing in particular.

I find everything interesting (well, not balancing spreadsheets) and I love listening - listening to the wind, to crickets, music, waves, birds, and most of all, to people's random theories, stories and adventures.

I don't know what this whole "life" thing is all about yet, and maybe I don't entirely know what I want to do when I grow up either, but I'd like to experience as much as possible while I'm here, meet as many interesting people and visit as many fascinating places as I can.

I'm always up for learning something new. It doesn't matter what it is really, in fact I'd be equally stoked if you can teach me how to do a bird call or peal a potato more efficiently.
