Finish my grad school study asap;p
I am from HK where is the MOST crowded, expensive, fast paced place in the world! I admit that I am not the type of person who should live in HK so I decided to move out to the other side of planet on my own. (Don't get me wrong, HK is a fun place to travel though!) I was an exchange student in Texas, US in 2009-2010 and I moved to Beijing in 2010 after my graduation where I worked for 2 years! I have been living in Vancouver since 2013 after my work life in Hong Kong drove me nuts. I am more the enjoying life type person but I do try hard to do something which I think will worth my time and sometimes I will try to walk the abnormal way. I believe after all I will prove to others I am not doing something stupid or crazy.
I never feel like I explore enough about myself and my surroundings, I believe meeting people is a great way to learn and one will learn from others beyond their imaginations. I am BIG on understanding and analyzing human behavior and way of thinking and from that I want to help others with their mental health situations. I try to impact people around me for now and hopefully in the future I can do something bigger.
I am a very outgoing talkative person but in a more reserved way.I like travelling a lot and my passion started from my trip to US, I have been to 20 countries so far but there is still a long list of countries I want to check out. Travel can allow me to experience things happened unexpectedly, meet awesome people and discover my inner self! I never get tired to talk for long long time! (Trust me, seriously I can talk the whole day without feeling tired) I am open minded and I respect other people ways of thinking , I don't have to agree with everything one says but I am opened to chat about it.
The way you think determine your happiness! Be positive!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friend told me about this site when we travelled together in US! At the very beginning, honestly, I didn't believe the couchsurfing due to the potential dangers I expected! Since then, after meeting so many awesome hosts and hanging out with so many random strangers, my mind has totally changed and I find this the best project ever! I can find people with similar views and personality here! Building a life long relationship is one of the best things I desire!
The journey started when I was an exchange student in US and we traveled around US:) We found 3 hosts and the experiences are just unforgettable, I met many locals and started to discover the beauty of traveling! Now I have couch surfed in quite a few places including Europe, Asia and North America, I would say 95% of experiences are good (or amazing) and I have built some life long friendship but I really want to warn some guys please stop treating CS as a site to pick up gals , you guys may ruin the reputation of CS and it is not a cool thing to do, please behave!
Say without doubt is travelling! Can't express in words how great travel is! I want to influence more people to discover the beauty to travel.
I am passionate about human psychology, financial management and meeting people and building connections with them. Enjoy drinking wine with friends.
Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to music, watch movie when I am alone. I have a list of favorites and let's share when we meet.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess I somehow survived many desperate situations and I now have friends from around the world, I am very grateful for it.
Teach, Learn, Share
What HK/ Chinese people think, act and believe! If you are willing to learn, I can teach one of the hardest languages in the world-Chinese (Cantonese is even harder than Mandarin, there are 9 tones)! Teach you awesome ways to do calculation very fast! I will share my travel experiences and my foodie journey around the world. I am a learner! Learn your language, your way to live, your travel experience! The ways to make you happy!
I enjoy very deep conversations about life in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like cooking, I want to share food with my host and I usually try to get them a small gift as well just to show my appreciation.
