About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To explore the world and develop an understanding of cultures besides my own
ABOUT ME
Very outgoing. Shy at first, but gets comfortable really quick with new people. Very athletic, enjoys the outdoors. Likes to stay busy. Environmentalist at heart. Also really into music. Punk rocker at heart but open to most music besides a lot of mainstream rap and any country music.
PHILOSOPHY
Open to most things. I was raised in a non-judgmental family so I make my best effort to carry that tradition on. I am also a strong environmentalist but I realize that we are animals too and are just doing are best to survive in this world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently I have been surfing on couches in Italy. Back home I am renting a place so I can not have visitors but I would like to host surfers when I have my own place
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have stayed with great hosts in Milan, Turin, Asti, and Genoa. All great people
Interests
Riding my bike, running, and swimming. I also really enjoy hiking and am looking to get into backpacking more. I enjoy video games in small doses but I really live for experiences.
I have been to more concerts than I can count but the highlights include Rush, New Found Glory, The Wonder Years, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
I do really enjoy reading and just finished Fahrenheit 451 and White Fang.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science and I am currently working towards my Teaching Certificate for Middle School General Science

Music, Movies, and Books
Any Tarintino movie, SLC punk, most Kevin Smith movies,. I listen to a lot of pop punk and indie rock
I am currently finally reading the Lord of the Rings series.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Rush in concert at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn Washington. Hiking the trails in Mt Baker National Forest and finishing my second marathon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to talk to people about what is going on in American politics and Environmental issues. I love to learn traveling tips and about different cultures. I grew up in small, middle class, predominantly white communities so I am looking to expand my mind and experiences to a global perspective.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great conversation, more than willing to help with chores around the house, and I am a great drinking buddy (I always make it home and remember to brush and floss my teeth before bed).
