I'm a 49 year old,(WOW! Yes 49) single black female and mother of a beautiful little engineer which I'm very protective of. I'm prior Marine Corps, prior Dept of Defense civilian, have owned my own businesses and currently a landlord and property manager in addition to full time mom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In this new world we live in today everyone needs one or more side gigs or multiple streams of income. As long as it is honest work and fulfilling I'm onboard. Your stays help pay for house and car repairs, my sons extracurricular activities, short trips and a little social life for this single mother. ;+)

Interests

I enjoy hanging out with my son, DIY projects, traveling, foreign languages, history, interesting facts, science and theology, cooking, red wine, brownies, smiling, looking at God's natural masterpieces, good music, delicious foods and so much more. A complete 180 from the international playgirl and party girl I use to be in my 20s and 30s but fun all the same.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

....not bragging but way more amazing things than I ever thought I would do. #1 giving birth to my son. 2. Traveled to over 22 countries. 3. Explored underground caves. 4. Hiked in the Rocky Mountains. 5. Gone canoeing with the alligators. 6.Skiied in Switzerland, Germany and France. 7. Jeep saffarri in Mallorca Spain. 8. Met Ice- T he rapper and actor twice on 2 separate continents. 9. Watched Whitney Houston sing in Berlin Germany. 10. Went to an open air Elton John concert in Germany. 11. Went jet skiing in the Aegean Sea on the Turkish Riveria
12. Drove over 20 hours straight to attend the Presidential Inauguration for President Obama and ......
