I recently lived in New York City for a few years and had a growing feeling that something was missing from my life. I finally decided to listen to my gut and go looking for it.

I’m an actor and might take a stab at standup comedy soon.
I grew up playing Nintendo and riding my bike with the other kids until the street lights came on, true genx style.
I went to college and got a small degree in theatre in Columbus, Ohio.
I spent a lot of time moving around after that. I’ve lived in North Hollywood and Queens, I’ve taught a little English in Prague, and I’ve been an extra on countless tv shows and films.
I still love to direct and act on stage, but it has been a few years.
These days I’m more tuned in to nature, easily fascinated by birds and plants and insects/spiders. I love a long walk among the trees or on a beach.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided early this summer to pack up my life and go see the world and make friends along the way. I’d forgotten about couchsurfing and then a friend reminded me, so it made sense to sign up. Unfortunately, with no references yet I realize now that it might be difficult to get started. I will try my best.

August 2025: I was in Edinburgh enjoying the fringe festival and living in a dorm amongst theatre folk. I will be in London after that and then I hope to spend as long as possible in the UK and Europe, forging strong friendships and making lasting memories. My agenda is wide open and I’m both excited and nervous.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to pay off my student loans before turning 30. (If you aren’t aware, most americans get stuck in debt for most of their lives.)

I’m actually more proud of the time i helped rescue a sick pigeon though. And bees! I’ve revived a handful of dying honey bees. ☺️

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m good at many things, but likely a master of none. I’m easily keen on learning what you’re passionate about and seeing you doing it action. Show me!

Maybe we could cook something you love or make a film together or look for pretty rocks/shells at the beach? Have always wanted to mudlark.

I enjoy learning about others’ life paths, so be prepared to meet with my curious soul. (I’m just as content to find comfort in silent company if that’s more your way.)

I can help cook, take you out for coffee or a picnic perhaps? I’m happy to prove that I’m a good guest. I’ve a pretty good sense of humor and i take pride in keeping things tidy. I also like problem solving and helping with projects.
