About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the universe... and beyond!

PHILOSOPHY

My life is a culmination of the choices I have made. Whether one actively chooses or chooses by inaction, we are still responsible. I choose to live actively, take control and determine my own path.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I think I'd like to participate in this community in any way I can. I've known about CS for quite awhile now and have recently decided to become more active, at this point I am willing to host and I look forward to doing some surfing very soon!
Am also looking forward to meeting other likeminded people in my city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, I'll let you know how it goes once I have though :)

Interests

Music (anything live with feeling... must include drums)
Movies, going for a beer or wine, being outside, theater, reading, something new and exciting, random anything, scrabble, crib, sitting up talking all night....

Music, Movies, and Books

Books ~The Eight by Catherine Neville, anything by Malcom Gladwell, Catch-22, Lord of the Flies, Water for Elephants
Movies ~Children of Men, Dirty Dancing, Shawshank Redemption, Up
Music ~Everything and anything except for heavy rap and electronica, I'm more into music made by instruments rather than computers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ethiopia 2009 walking through the ruins of the fabled castle of the queen of sheba only to come across archaeologists sifting through ruins under the ruins that actually do date from the time of Sheba..... too cool!

Teach, Learn, Share

The main lesson I've learned from all of my travels is the value of looking through someone elses eyes. We are quick to judge from the outside looking in, but it's amazing how the situation changes when viewed through eyes of empathy and openness.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ethiopia, France, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada
