ABOUT ME

I'm 42, and in the process of "restarting" a business before moving back to Russia to run a business with friends there. I bicycle at least 10 miles everyday, with sometimes as much as 25 to 40 miles per day. I love trying new foods from other countries, and can prepare some of them
quite well. I like eating healthy, but I do cheat occasionally on my healthy diet (moreso lately 😁). One of my foods I prepare is kimchi, and I make a few different mean kimchis, which combines my love of foreign foods and super healthy probiotics. It's been awhile since I've made it, but I make a great Indian chicken curry. I love talking with people, but also get on just fine alone in the stillness and quiet.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have little experience with the site, really, but in my life, I have much experience. I've even floor surfed. If it's big enough for me to sleep on, I can sleep, day, or night. I stayed in Lithuania twice through couch surfing, once alone, and once with my girlfriend. The first time I had a mix up with my visa, and was stuck there for 21 days. The kind woman and her brother were very good hosts.

Interests

Music, music and music(to find new music, and the best music). I love DJing, but haven't had much time for that lately. Started writing 2 books(1 poetry and 1 about my journey), but those are on hold for now. Reading(mostly physics, and philosophy, sometimes for studying). It's been awhile, but I love snowboarding and used to teach it.

Laying on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, sipping a gin and tonic, watching the moon come up over the ocean. Visiting Huang Guo Shu, in a rural part of China.

Teach, Learn, Share

I taught English in Russia for different levels. I taught snowboarding (I can get most people off to a good start in just a day, but a few out there are impossible 😁)
