ABOUT ME

Living the "college life" at the moment and maximizing the opportunities and time to travel. I love learning about new cultures and talking with people from different places. Feels oh so good to just stroll the streets of a new city and feel the vibes! I have always wanted to travel and see as much as I can. I figure now, while I am young and able I should maximize this time. So I stepped outside my comfort zone and am studying abroad in Uppsala, Sweden. This is just the beginning to many travels!

Only we can create our own happiness.
I really think so many of us, including myself, take life too seriously and need to venture out more and experience more, we get so caught up in our daily routines, that we aren't actually living but just following the motions of what we think we "should" be doing rather than what we truly want. No longer!

Just recently joined and am finding all about how this works, but very interested and excited. Great idea! Joined the local group and have enjoyed meeting new people and great events.

Music: Everything. Country is my favorite. Always down for some alternative and hip hop too.oldies, indie...

Favorite TV Shows:Desperate Housewives & Brothers and Sisters. Just so full of drama. haha. One Tree Hill, CMT music videos

Favorite Movies:Comedies, scary movies, sappy romances, thrillers, cheesy chick flicks...anything but sci-fi.

Favorite Books:Slacking in this department for sure. Maybe when I get out of school and finish reading the assigned books, I'll have more time to actually enjoy good books. ( : Tuesdays with Morrie, Eat Pray Love, The Believers, Girl Next Door

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right off the top of my head I think about flying over Denali National Park/ Mt. McKinley in Alaska in a small plane, going in and out of the mountains then landing on Ruth's glacier and walking around. It was the most free I've ever felt, such beautiful natural creation. Also, being here in a new country(sweden) has been amazing.
