About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To visit every corner of the world :)

ABOUT ME

Ummm.. nothing much except am a bit of a travel bug. When I can afford it I want to go everywhere and do everything!

I am also a bit of a chatter box too... enjoy being around people but sometimes also need some time alone :)

PHILOSOPHY

"It is through travel that we meet and understand other people and at this time, when there is so much anger and misunderstanding in the world, travel is more important than it has ever been." - Tony Wheeler, 2005-Lonely Planet

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been great hosting and being hosted. You meet so many different people and have friends all over the world.

Interests

Travel. Scuba diving. Music. Volleyball. Reading. World culture. Technology. Writing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. and all sorts of music, depending on my mood and the situation :) I tend to favour comical movies and cartoons, but that doesn't mean I don't like action, I just can't watch it on big screen (motion sickness) and definitely not horror. I also love books. Bookshops are my weakness!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in Peru for 3 months and have had the time of my life. Not only was I there to experience the culture first hand, we also accomplished something. I believe I learnt just as much as what we had put in for the communities and these knowledge and experience will definitely stay with me for the rest of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learnt that learning a bit of the language of the country you'll be going to will get you very far! :)

It also helps to try to think from someone else's shoes. Different cultures have different values and not everyone enjoys and does the same thing as you. Expect the unexpected and enjoy what the locals have to offer, you will enjoy your trips so much more and will get a lot more out of your trips than just photos to prove you have been to some places.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Fiji, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Russian Federation, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Vanuatu, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Germany, Peru, Taiwan, United Kingdom
