To discover my current purpose.
I'm currently employed at a local hunger relief organization where I work on various projects to expand and further our mission. During school, I studied environmental education and interpretation. I have hopes of sharing the wonder and amazement of the natural world with other people. I appreciate new experiences to further myself both personally and professionally.
I'm constantly amazed by the new and engaging experiences that are to be found at every corner. As I venture through life, I am trying to connect with people and the Earth.
Enjoy and engage.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've stayed with people but have yet to host.
Couch surfed in Toronto, ON for 2 nights with Aaron; surfed in Montreal, Quebec with Vanessa for two nights and then two nights with Quinn.
It was great!
Nature, gardening and just overall being more self-reliant, local food systems and food justice, going out, enjoying local food and drinks, engaging with creative folks, yoga and nia dancing, cooking meals with others to share, reading old books to only find the truth in it still exists, biking la tour de Columbus.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like tunes that make me dance--funk, folk, blue grass, jams, jazz, etc. Some of my favorites are Bob Dylan, My Morning Jacket, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Gillian Welch, and more more more!
Authors I like to read are Camus, Michael Pollan, Emerson, Maugham...
Teach, Learn, Share
I myself have been learning yoga over time and could share some breathing techniques and postures to help engage you with your inner self. Hula hoopin tricks; dancing foolishly; growing and cultivating tasty vegetables and herbs; vegetarian cooking (and eating).
