About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting new people!

ABOUT ME

Since I study neuroscience, I find myself constantly looking through a microscope and focusing on the small details. So I try to take a step back and enjoy the bigger, little things, like meeting new people, making new memories, and sharing stories. That's where couchsurfing comes in!

PHILOSOPHY

Live easy and Bruce Willis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I live in a one bedroom apartment with my wife and are not really setup to host anyone. Once we move into a larger apartment when our lease is up, I will be able to host again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a couple people and have surfed myself once. It's hard for me to surf because I'm busy with school, but I have extra room in my apartment so I want to do my part and host people when I can.

Interests

I enjoy playing soccer, surfing, playing the saxophone, watching movies, listening to music, watching anime, and anything else that seems worthwhile at the time. I'm easy going and enjoy meeting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Lucky Number Slevin, Inglorious Basterds, Shutter Island, The Boondock Saints, Moulin Rouge, The Shawshank Redemption, Fight Club, The Bourne Trilogy, Minority Report, The Butterfly Effect, Ace Ventura, Tommy Boy, Crank, Public Enemies, The Hangover... there's plenty more.

Music: Basically anything but country. John Mayer, Frank Sinatra, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Bitter:Sweet... And pretty much any rock, alternative, jazz, rap, hip-hop, big band and swing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited the Smoky Mountains National Park and it was amazing. I've never seen such lush and beautiful forests and streams in person before. After being cooped up in a big city for such a long time and being used to only seeing beaches and smaller wooded areas when growing up, it was truly breathtaking to look down the mountain sides at countless trees for miles.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can longboard, surf, play the saxophone, and have a lot of other obscure talents. I'm good with math and science so if you need any help with school work or anything let me know.
