I think that when you travel somewhere you only get half a view of a place stuck in a hotel. I want to experience the culture, people, food and music of a place and in my experience the best place to find that is in the homes of locals.

* Trekked solo over the Himalayas's for two months covering about 900kms of trail.
* Have also Kayaked independently in Antarctica.
* Rollerblading at midnight down a highway in the central deserts of Australia with only shorts on, a head lamp, and a million and one stars in the sky.
* Swam with whale sharks and manta rays in Mexico
* Walked the Camino
* Doing some amazing humanitarian work including the building of a school in Nepal during the 2015 Earthquake.
* Holding hands with a wild Urangatang in the jungles of Sumatra.
* Some great scuba diving around the world, Sipadan has been my favourite.
