About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Onward to the next big thing.
ABOUT ME
I grew in in the Aiken, South Carolina, went to undergrad in Columbia, SC, and now I'm in med school down in Charleston, SC. I left the state a few times in between... Med school is a long haul - my travel game has been weak for the last couple years, but lately I've enjoyed Alaska and Haiti for sure.
PHILOSOPHY
"I know nothing except the fact of my ignorance." - Socrates
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Cases for couchsurfing: I contacted a couchsurfer in antarctica (they're there, too) about working there and through his guidance got offered a job at the south pole. Contacted a couchsurfer near a cave in GA and he emailed me detailed cave maps! I've surfed with fine folks in Spain. I had one of my favorite thanksgivings ever when my (large) family hosted 4 roadtripping international students for the holiday.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not a huge fan of dance clubs (I can't dance), but I went to one a while ago, and when the song "come on ride that train (choo chooooo)" came on, I started a train that snaked all the way around the dance floor and involved pretty much everybody. This is one of my life's greatest accomplishments.
