ABOUT ME

Honest, funny, passionate, capable and independent.

I love to travel and meet new people. I speak fluent English and decent Swiss-German and German. I enjoy seeing new places, eating delicious food and learning new things.

I'm very passionate about human rights. I think everyone should be treated like the people they are. I was the Womens Officer at university, and have help host events such as 'Reclaim the Night', I help out the LGBTI community both at uni and in community events such as Pride, and am passionate about there not being a divide between Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal people.

I'm also somewhat of an expert at lame jokes!

For fun I enjoy diving, reading, surfing the Web and having new experiences.

I've worked as an English teacher in South Korea and Madrid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some house-sitting (I'm great with animals), a lot of couch surfing at mate's places, and a lot of camping. I once lived in a tent (granted it was a large tent with a sun room) for a year out on a cattle station.

Favorite Movie: Evolution, followed closely by Johnny English. However, I mostly watch action movies, such as anything containing Arnie, Stallone, Jason Stratham, Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li and the Bourne movies.

There are way to many books I love to put them here, except to mention Michael Connolly, Martina Cole, Jean M Auel, Janet Evanovich and Agatha Christe as some of my all time faves!

The first time I saw the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France - absolutely amazing!!
The view from a hill top resort in Koh Phangan, Thailand while in a hammock.
SCUBA diving for the first time in Koh Tao, Thailand, and seeing a giant sea turtle.

Before you go to a place, read about the scams that are common there. Take lots of photos and write it all down. You'll appreciate the extra effort a few years down the track!!!

I can teach English, European cooking and travel advice!

I want to learn vegetarian and vegan cooking (though I am neither vegetarian nor vegan - yet!). I would also like to learn more diving, martial arts, Korean and Spanish.

I can share a sense of adventure and humour!
