Traveling for a year or so, California to Hawaii to Thailand to New Zealand.

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving adventurer from Asheville, NC who loves live music, yoga, dancing, and the great outdoors. I've spent a decent amount of time backpacking and traveling, and am putting down roots in New Zealand for the upcoming year. I have worked in a wide array of industries - from solar power to music venue management to farming. I love coffee/tea, sustainable living ideas, being outside, and other such goodness.

I used Couchsurfing a lot when I lived in Melbourne, Australia for networking and events, but have not been active on it otherwise. I'm hoping to make new friends in New Zealand and have a few adventures before finding a more permanent rental.

Shantaram is one of my favorite books on Earth. I love finding an author and reading everything they have ever written. Tom Robbins, Barbara Kingsolver, Herman Hesse, Tolkein, etc. Currently working on Salmon Rushdie.

I've bathed in lillypad filled pools at the top of waterfalls in rural, northern Australia. I've climbed 14,000ft peaks in the Rockies in Colorado and camped with mountain goats. I've driven through fog along the California coast, staring down at the rocks and waves and sandy beaches filled with sea lions from cliffs. I've snorkeled with lion fish and bioluminescence in Puerto Rico, and eaten pad-Thai from the street stalls of Bangkok.
