So, me...
I'm a 26 years old engineering student from Germany. I grew up in Hamburg and moved to Berlin to study. I changed my field of engineering and moved to Stockholm, Sweden to study aerospace engineering at KTH.
I love my studies, I am interested in everything (peacefull!) that moves above the speed of sound and all the mysteries our universe holds for us!
When I am not doing rocket science (hehe) I mostly enjoy spending time with friends. I am a super social easy going person and most of the time in an exceptionally good mood. I just like to just hang out, cook together, go to concerts and bars, just having a good time together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been living in Ireland and Sweden and spent important and great times of my live in an international environment. I like to get out, meet new people with new ideas, new questions, new stories.

I did couchsurf only once in Portugal, but it was a good first experience, although, unfortunately the contact to the host didn't last long after I left.
My housemates in Stockholm took in a lot of couch surfers and we always had good times together singing karaoke and cooking each other dishes from our home country.
I myself hosted chouch surfers twice when I was still living in a flatshare in Berlin. Unfortunately I never felt that I had enough time to properly spent time with a visitor, which is a high priority for me.

Interests

I am not much of a sport person, nevertheless I am dancing since almost 20 years now and I enjoy snowboarding very much although I didn't manage to go for a few years now. I recently discovered biking (short to medium distances) to uni and I like cruising with my longboard. There are phases were I go bouldering a lot and I'd like to pick that up again.

Additionally, I enjoy music. There were times where I was actively making musik. I played bass in a band and enjoyed all the stagetime we got :) I shifted more to 'just' listening to music at the moment since I focus more on my creative side with pencils, brushes and my sewing machine.

Music: my all time favourite - The Beatsteaks!!
I enjoy a lot of different kinds of musik: The Beachboys, Seeed, Iron and Wine, The Kooks, RHCP, Darwin Deez, Deichkind, Gary Clark Jr. , The Black Box Revelation, Little Barrie, The Devil and the Almighty Blues, Blues Pills and so on.
I very much enjoy going to Jazz/Blues/Blue Grass concerts and jam sessions as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lately: Going to Abisko, Swedish Lappland and Skiing across a frozen lake, going dogsled riding and see the northern lights!

People always liked when I cooked 'traditional' german food, so I'd gladly do that again ;)
