About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find truth in people, sharing experiences all along the way...

ABOUT ME

I am interested in a lot things, but mostly people. I am studying the weather and earth because I love nature, meanwhile I am working to further my education in psychology. Putting it all together, I love the idea of people interaction with each other and with nature. There is so much beauty in this world, and if you don't look hard enough, you'll never see it. I have a feeling that the type of people in the CS community know what I'm talking about. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live every day like it's your last. Treat others how you wish to be treated. Share as much as possible while you can because you never know what tomorrow will change. Take advantage of every opportunity, especially those that are hidden behind mistakes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am just beginning.. looking forward to adding more info as my experience matures and evolves!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am completely new to CS! However, I have welcomed friends to stay at my home during times of need. Also, I have opened up to staying with 'strangers' because I have learned that even the most interesting people begin as strangers..

Interests

I am interested in psychology, the weather, the earth, hiking and the outdoors, and everything else in between. I am a homebrewer (beer) and am a big baseball fan. I must say, though, that what interests me most is interaction with people. Sharing an experience with someone beats everything else.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have opened up to a lot of music, and right now I am going through a phase where I find myself enjoying electronic high-paced tunes (trance, house, and more), but I do also love something down-tempo and relaxing, too. I have always had a core love of rock music. The best movies I think are the ones that leave you with something beyond just a moral--which explains why psychological thrillers are of great interest to me. I read a lot of non-fiction because I just can't learn enough about the world and people. Right now I am several books into craft-brewing as I continue to expand on what has become a very enjoyable hobby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Generally speaking, traveling has been the most amazing thing I have done in my life (with maybe the exception of meeting a few particular individuals).

The most amazing things, specifically, would have to be chasing tornados, experiencing a hurricane from within the eye, and being right next to flowing lava as it freshly spews out of the ground.

I have to say, nothing tops seeing someone you love smile.. that has been and will always be the most amazing thing that really ever exists. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all, I would love to learn and teach about who we are and about each others' lives. Specifically, I would love to be able to teach (for those who care to learn) about those things having to do with those shared interests (people, nature, etc). I am definitely enjoying learning how to cook cultural dishes from the teachings of those from all over the world!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to discuss anything baseball related, and would talk for hours about beer and homebrewing. Stories about experiences dealing with extreme nature such as storms or volcanoes/earthquakes is so humbling and fun--we are of the earth, and there's just no denying it's beauty and power!
