HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned of couch surfing while living in Europe back in 2007. I experienced Aussie land in an amazing fashion and met amazing people in 2008. Next, I traveled for work and was never home more than a night or 2 a week. Now, trying to get back into this community as I find it includes so many interesting people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed my way along the Aussie coast and learned SO much about Australia that I wouldn't have learned in hotels/hostels!

Swam with wild Minke whales up in the Northern part of the GBR! Unimaginable experience, truly phenomenal.

I have loads to share! Here's a few fun facts I used to teach at the aquarium:

A starfish is not a fish... so it's a sea star, same with a jellyfish, sea jelly.
A sea star eats by spitting it's stomach out.
Marine mammals sleep by resting half their brain at a time, so that in the wild they are still aware of predators.
