CURRENT MISSION To see the world, meet some people, and have fun. ABOUT ME I'm a Canadian girl with a bad case of Peter Pan syndrome. I was too bored of the routine to settle down in one place, so I decided to run away and wander the world in search of adventure (and tea). What started as a one-year trip around the world has become something much more. I never thought I was very adventurous, but since I've been travelling over 3 years life has become an adventure. PHILOSOPHY Life is short so take chances, do spontaneous things, and always eat dessert first.... just in case. I would rather do something geeky and fun then fancy and boring :).

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I found out about CS just before starting this around the World adventure. I have surfed a few places along the way, and when I finally stop will repay by hosting and meeting travelers in need of help and company :). COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE So far I have only surfed with people but when I stop travelling I look forward to Hosting and getting more involved in CS.
Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite movie of all times is the Princess Bride :). I like a bunch of different styles of music. Alternative, lots of 80's "retro"(New wave/Punk style), classic rock, Old Jazz and new Jazz like Molly Johnson. Kevin Quain, Tom Waits.... anyhing that sounds good. I like Fantasy books that make me laugh like Terry Pratchett. While travelling I like anything in English.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I did a 18 day trek along the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. It took me to the Highest mountain pass in the World at over 5000m. I still can't believe I did it :). I've ridden an ostridge in South Africa, but I don't advise others to try :). It was hillarious, but birds just aren't ment to be ridden. Packed up my life and went backpacking around the world.. The "One Year" trip started May 2008 and is still happening..... Also I'm the only person I know insane enough to be allergic to rice and think it's a god idea to travel around Asia for over a year!
My Interests
Travelling and seeing new things, trekking, getting filthy in caves, climbing mountains, enjoying nature, swimming at the beach, cycling, going for walks, dancing, and sharing drinks with my friends :). Also I Love tea, reading, and I'm always up for a game of cards or to learn any new game :).
