I'm apparently far too cynical for my home country.
I live a few km from the beach, but I've never been in the water. It's just too cold, and I don't see what I'd do in it.
I'd definitely go fishing your country though.

I don't have social media, don't understand why people take selfies, and generally avoid disingenuous behavior. Basically, I try to avoid being normal.

I like sugar way, way too much. I'll probably get excited about the local energy drinks of places I travel, despite being completely immune to caffeine. It's a struggle.

I'd like to travel more in the future. I'd also just like to connect with more people since I spent all of my 20s stuck in university, being a robot. Now I strive to meet people a lot different from me, in many ways. I'm trying to make up for a lost youth, in an adult way.

In every country, I want to:
-learn the local word for "squirrel"
-play billiards
-see an orchestra
-visit and photograph the inside of a grocery store

I'm becoming more interested in learning languages these days. But there is only so much time...

Interessen

Space exploration, technology, motorcycling/racing, bicycling, board games, computers/internet stuff, classical music, the aesthetics of humanity, languages, communication and grammar, etymology, getting into trouble

Technical research and solving hard problems.

I prefer having discussions that aren't full of typical small-talk. The US has got me rather exhausted from that whole tragedy.
