I’m originally from New York City, but for the past few years I’ve been based in Oaxaca, Mexico, where I’ve been growing as a musician and human being. Music is my passion—I create something I call Medicinal Hip-Hop, blending beats and lyrics that uplift, heal, and inspire.

I feel fortunate that much of my travel today is connected to music—whether I’m on tour, heading to my next show, or collaborating with other artists. This path has taken me to festivals, community gatherings, and intimate venues across Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica and the U.S., and I love how music opens doors to authentic connections wherever I go.

As a traveler, I value sharing stories, laughter, and cultural exchange. I’m vegan and enjoy cooking plant-based meals, so I’m always happy to contribute in the kitchen. I’m respectful, mindful of space, and like to leave things better than I found them. Beyond music, I love dance, and enjoy conversations about life, nature, spirituality, and local culture. I’m curious about the way people live and what makes each place unique—I travel not just to see new places, but to build real connections with the people I meet along the journey.

Soy originario de Nueva York, pero desde hace algunos años vivo en Oaxaca, México, donde he crecido tanto como músico como ser humano. La música es mi pasión—creo algo que llamo Hip-Hop Medicinal, una fusión de ritmos y letras que elevan, sanan e inspiran.

Me siento afortunado de que gran parte de mis viajes hoy estén conectados con la música—ya sea porque estoy de gira, rumbo a mi próximo show, o colaborando con otros artistas. Este camino me ha llevado a festivales, encuentros comunitarios y escenarios íntimos en México, Guatemala, Costa Rica y Estados Unidos, y me encanta cómo la música abre puertas a conexiones auténticas dondequiera que voy.

Como viajero, valoro compartir historias, risas e intercambio cultural. Soy vegano y disfruto cocinar comidas a base de plantas, así que siempre estoy feliz de aportar en la cocina. Soy respetuoso, consciente del espacio, y me gusta dejar todo mejor de lo que lo encontré. Más allá de la música, disfruto las conversaciones sobre la vida, la naturaleza, la espiritualidad y la cultura local. Siento curiosidad por la forma en que la gente vive y por lo que hace que cada lugar sea único—viajo no solo para ver nuevos sitios, sino para crear conexiones reales con las personas que encuentro en el camino.

Interests

Writing and performing music is my everything but I also love to meditate, eat well, dance and enjoy hiking through nature. I dance Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Forro. I have even taught Salsa in the past. I am a friendly person as my name implies and love learning about the cultures of others. I have Dominican roots and have been fortunate to travel to 14 different countries.

Escribir y presentar música es mi todo, pero también me encanta meditar, comer bien, bailar y disfrutar de caminatas en la naturaleza. Bailo Salsa, Bachata, Merengue y Forró. Incluso he enseñado Salsa en el pasado. Soy una persona amistosa, como mi nombre lo indica, y me encanta aprender sobre las culturas de los demás. Tengo raíces dominicanas y he tenido la fortuna de viajar a 14 países diferentes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015 I lived in Nicaragua for 6 months and taught free salsa lessons twice a week in the small town that I was living in. I would have 50 to 60 participants come to every class.

En 2015, viví en Nicaragua durante 6 meses y enseñé clases de salsa gratis dos veces por semana en el pequeño pueblo en el que vivía. Tuve entre 50 y 60 participantes en cada clase.

Teach, Learn, Share

Meditation has done alot for me. After my first 10 day vipassana course I gave up drinking and became vegetarian as well as decided that I wanted to leave everything behind and try to make music the center of my life. After my second course I decided to go vegan. Vipassana meditation has provided me with an opportunity to go deep into myself and try to better understand what it is that I truly want from life and what it is that does and doesn't make me happy. I think meditation can provide benefits to any and everyone.

La meditación ha hecho mucho por mí. Después de mi primer curso de vipassana de 10 días, dejé de beber y me hice vegetariano, tambien decidí que quería hacer un cambio total y hacer la música el centro de mi vida. Después de mi segundo curso, decidí volverme vegano. La meditación Vipassana me ha brindado la oportunidad de mejor entenderme mí mismo y tratar de comprender mejor qué es lo que realmente quiero de la vida y qué es lo que me hace y no me hace feliz. Creo que la meditación puede proveer beneficios a todos.
