Overview
About Me
Im a happy person, who thinks too many strange thoughts, and love to meet strange people. I like to laugh, and talk about everything out of the ordinary, and I have been practising both things alot.
I believe that the world would be a better place if people would just be a little more nice to each other. I don't have any religion (maybe a little buddhist or agnostic atheist), but I strongly belive that people can make the world a little better if they remember to try.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Learned about CS in Scotland, when I was trying to spend the night in a chair in the bar of a hostel, because no beds were available - when suprisingly I met some wonderful CS girls in the bar who invited me to their home.
Since then I have mostly used CS when I am unable to travel, to help others and to get some of that travel-feeling, you get from talking to people :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a terrible taste of music (and movies). Ranging from Nightwish to Rammstein to Irish folk music to Enya to Bob Dylan, i'm not sure if I actually have a taste at all. I have tried to improve it, but i guess i don't really care.
My favorite book is "The Shadow of the Wind", but generally I LOVE fantasy and historical books. I play piano. I don't have a computer and television at home, after I learned how computer addicted I actually am (I really can't control it).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have done SO much stupit shit, that I don't know where to start. My first trip out of Europe was to India, without mobile phone, guide book or any preparation, green as shit. After getting screwed by a sort-of travel agency in Delhi, I went straight up to Kashmir, despite the civil war had not officially ended yet (the fuckers didn't tell me). After a week in Srinagar I mannaged to get far up in the Himalaya mountains in Kashmir where I lived with some local muslims, and absolutely no other turists and no english speaking people for 2 weeks. That place is without comparison the most beautiful place I have ever been to, and mindblowingly weird at the same time. Since then I generally tried to do at least one rather stupid thing every time a travel more than a month, and usually that is what I remember most from my travels.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have used so many years trying to understand how to create development, in both DK and especially in Afrika. Unfortunately I have mostly learned what does NOT work. I have also tried to understand financial crises, political corruption, and the optimal infrastructure.
