Gillian- I am a trained hairdresser/therapist , loves meeting new people x
Creative & passionate. Am the organised, tidy one in a our relationship, or so i think xx
Omar - i am easy to get on with, generally relaxed and prefer the fun side of life. I like adventure, spontaneity and something to work look forward to and work towards. I am usually the one that gets us into trouble. I work as a self-employed personal trainer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting out, so for the moment & with travelling for a year, we are not able to accommodate ,but will do when we return home.........

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have been staying with a wicked guy in Cairns "David", He has been an asset to us, with his vast knowledge of the area, welcoming us and becoming a true friend we never knew we had.
Aaron ,another C/S "lovely funny guy" took us out in Cairns & with David, took Omar "rock diving"!!! Great 1st time experience for C/S

Interests

G love's anything creative - enjoys writing stories (none published yet!) Films, fashion, history, socialising!!!

O is interested in film, health and fitness, experiencing new things, comedy clubs, live music and meeting good natured, genuine people.

G- Martina Cole books, but read a wide range. The Green Mile. Shawshank Redemption and Ghost Whisper. Music - dabble in most, but love Paulo Nuttini and Barbara Streisand.

O- Brit film (Sexy Beast), Hong Kong (infernal affairs), American (Fight club/American Beauty), Australian (Crocodile Dundee, Mad max and Muriel's Wedding)
Eclectic taste in music, 50s--> electronic/techno, soft spot for 80s sounds.
Books currently reading: Mr Nice, Dorian Gray and
The Magician's Guild Trio

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

G- Have brought up 3 amazing boys x Absailed down Dungeoness light house x.Trained to take part in an Army assault course x.
Dived in The Great Barrier Reef!

O- a pro wrestler for 6 years, been part of a filmmaking crew, scuba dived in the Great Barrier Reef, cliff jumped into the top of a cascading waterfall, dined overlooking the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee and been blessed to have met some of the most wonderful people in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

G- Can teach any women to" put up her own hair" or a "man to use hair product"!!! Am a good listener x

O- Teach: anything to do with health and fitness
Learn: My mind is a sponge! Languages, French and Italian in
particular
Share: my experiences and forth coming adventures with and
maybe, occasionally, my food! x
